We can cater for those who already have a vine that produces grapes, to those who do not, but would like to start growing one. Those with vines join as “producer members” and those who do not join as “developer members”. The difference is that the developer members start with a vine that we supply and take a year or so to graduate to being producer members. There is also an associate membership, which is much like a social or affiliate membership, for those who have an interest that is not as an active grower (whether they own a vine or not).
Producer and developer membership are set out below:
Producer Member
This means that you will be able to put your grapes into the collective pressing held in October of this year and thereafter. In other words, your vine already exists and produces a crop.
As part of your Urban Wine producer membership fee, you will receive:
The Urban Wine Company welcome pack (includes vine care information, background information and initial log in details).
Your grapes are collected, pressed, and returned as bespoke labelled bottled urban wine (up to 6 bottles are included in your membership fee and then additional bottles charged at £4.75 per bottle).

Developer Member
If you don’t have a vine, but would like one, you can become a developer member.
A developer membership means that The Urban Wine Company will supply you with a vine that is suitable for you to grow and which will make good wine. Simply sign up, receive your membership pack, a vine delivered to your door and sit back with your favourite glass of wine and enjoy watching it grow and flourish.
By signing up as a developer member you will receive:
The Urban Wine Company welcome pack (includes vine care information, background information and initial log in details).
A vine suitable for production into urban wine.
